Party City: Stop Selling Offensive Native American "Costumes"

Every year companies like Party City make it easy for folks to mock Native Americans with culturally appropriated Halloween costumes. It's time to put a stop to this offensive behavior.

Dressing as a Native American is not a funny, cute or clever idea. It's an offensive thing that non-native people to essentially make fun of a whole culture. Whether or not those wearing the costumes mean it that way is irrelevant, that's what's happening. Native Americans have already been so deeply harmed by non-natives; they don't deserve to have to put up with this disgusting practice.

Party City should do the right thing by not selling Native American Costumes.

Dressing as a super hero is a costume, dressing as a caricature of a culture of which you are not a part is offensive.
